Music AI, a Salt Lake City, UT-based player in the field of AI for audio and music, raised $40M in Series A Funding.

The round was led by Connect Ventures and monashees, with participation from Kickstart, Samsung Next, Toba Capital, Valutia, and Pelion along with music industry professionals including Freddy Wexler, 3LAU, and Alexander23.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.

Founded by Geraldo Ramos, Eddie Hsu, and Jardson Almeida, Music AI is a company which specializes in AI-driven music and audio technology. With a team of over 90 collaborators across the USA, Brazil, and Europe, it provides solutions through its B2B Music.ai and B2C Moises.ai platforms. Its technologies are used by artists, producers, record labels, agencies, technology firms, and developers.
