SALT LAKE CITY, June 26, 2025 – oiid, the company that makes artist branded superfan apps, has now integrated Music AI’s state-of-the-art stem separation technology into its artist-based apps. The integration will help artists at all stages of their careers to engage fans like never before, enabling fans to explore their favorite tracks like they were in the studio with the band.

To kick off this new app offering, oiid is working with Norwegian metal legends Enslaved and indie psych rock favorites Orions Belte to create branded apps that will integrate oiid’s proprietary stem player, strengthened by Music AI’s industry-leading AI stem separation.

A pioneer in engaging use of music stems, oiid has created award-winning fan experiences with artists such as Esperanza Spalding, attracted artists such as KYGO as investors and advisors, and built tech to promote music education. In its latest B2B move, oiid will now facilitate for artists to create unique, comprehensive artist branded superfan apps. The apps will offer a wide range of features, including artist owned channel, event section, merch stores, fan forums and oiid's proprietary stem player. The stem player allows superfans to precisely isolate and manipulate individual audio components. Listeners can delve deeper into their favorite music, whether it's adjusting the guitar strings, the drum beat, or the nuance of background vocals.

Music AI’s advanced technology will provide seamless AI-enabled stem separation whenever original stems are unavailable through oiid’s global label partnerships. These studio-quality stems are central to the oiid experience, allowing users unprecedented control over individual instrument volumes, real-time soundscape adjustments, and interactive play-along sessions featuring synced lyrics and chords.

The integration of Music AI's technology into oiid’s platform promises to help oiid scale and offer more possibilities to more artists. Frank Østevold, Founder & CEO of oiid, said: “For oiid to deliver the interactive experience fans crave, it was essential that we are able to source state-of-the-art stems. After extensively testing the top AI-enabled stem separators on the market, Music AI clearly stood out as the best.”

Geraldo Ramos, CEO of Music AI, said: "We are excited to partner and integrate our suite of AI-powered audio technologies into their groundbreaking platform. This collaboration is a great example of how Music AI can help music companies to unlock the value in their catalogs in innovative ways for their artists and the superfans who love them. Shortly After Groundbreaking Demonstration, Music AI Named to Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies List

Austin, TX – March 2025 – The future of real-time audio personalization has arrived. During SXSW 2025 Music AI (in collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies, Inc.), presented a demonstration of Moises Live, using an edge AI model running natively on Snapdragon® X Series processors, allowing users to engage with audio in unprecedented ways—separating vocals, instruments, and other sonic elements in real time.

At the heart of this breakthrough, called AI Smart VolumeTM, is Music AI, the creators of the cutting-edge embedded AI technology powering Moises Live, which runs entirely on-device, enabling customized audio personalization from any input or streaming source.

Moises Live showcased the potential of on-device AI for music and audio processing during Qualcomm’s keynote, demonstrating how Moises Live can isolate and manipulate individual elements of a song or audio track instantly – like hearing only the instruments in your favorite song, lowering the crowd noise in a sports game, or muting the laugh track in a sitcom – without reliance on energy-intensive cloud processing.

“To have demonstrated that it’s now possible to work with any song or audio track in real time, isolating just the instrument or element you want, at one of the world’s largest festivals of innovation, technology, and music — that’s incredible for us,” said Geraldo Ramos, CEO of Music AI. “This reinforces Moises’ role as a reference in AI for music and helps us expand our visibility among potential investors, creators, and the global industry as a whole. We’re thrilled about our collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies and to deliver cutting-edge technology to our clients and partners.”

Moises Live is volume 2.0, giving consumers the unprecedented power to customize their listening experience on their favorite devices and apps, and companies the ability to harness real-time audio personalization to enhance their product lines. From adjusting individual instrument volumes in a song to isolating a speaker’s voice in a crowded video conference, Moises Live opens a world of possibilities for dynamic audio experiences.

Moises Live serves as a showcase of Music AI’s white-label embedded technology, exemplifying how enterprise solutions have the incredible potential for edge-based product innovation. By running entirely on-device, Music AI eliminates the need for cloud-based processing, reducing latency and energy consumption while protecting user privacy.

Music AI’s momentum continued to build following SXSW, with the company recently earning a spot on Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies of 2025, recognizing its leadership in AI-driven music and audio technology as a transformational force within the music industry. With more than 55 million users worldwide, Music AI continues to redefine how creators and developers interact with sound.

"Their proprietary models, third-party integrations, and on-device AI capabilities ensure reliability, security, and scalability across smartphones, smart TVs, and other connected devices—all while elevating the end-user experience with cutting-edge features.”

Music AI has been advancing a variety of technologies in the field of music. These include Music Information Retrieval (MIR) solutions, which encompass technologies like stem separation, chord recognition, key and beat detection, and music transcription. In 2023, the company expanded its focus to include generative solutions, such as singing voice modelling and assistive music creation.

The company is committed to developing ethical AI solutions strictly trained on fully licensed content that empower creators by compensating them fairly and that enhance artistic creativity. "Securing this Series A funding underscores the real-world impact our technologies have on the creative industry," said Geraldo Ramos, CEO of Music AI. Audible Magic’s gold standard music identification joins Music AI’s industry-leading stem separation to give rightsholders new music licensing superpowers

Music AI and Audible Magic are teaming up to make music replacement easier thanks to AI. Films and television shows are often created with one licensing structure in one licensing territory–leading to issues later when rightsholders release the content in new territories. Now, thanks to this new partnership, production companies can use Audible Magic and Music AI’s high-caliber cinematic stem separation to tease out music, identify that music, and make informed decisions about whether to relicense or replace it.

An innovative new tool, cinematic stem separation requires a finely tuned model that untangles dialog, background noise, and music in an existing video, film, or show to result in clean audio files that can then be edited independently. Music AI’s best-in-class model has outperformed other services in this area in side-by-side tests.

This partnership aligns with recent activity for both companies as they work to build an ethical ecosystem for the future of audio innovation—inclusive of AI. “We’re creating an ecosystem of all of these companies that, while making sure we do things the right way, are at the bleeding edge of innovation,” explains Matt Henninger, Music AI’s VP of Business Development and Sales. “We’re incredibly excited to bridge our efforts with Audible Magic to make life easier for film and TV rightsholders to do more with their content.”

Known as the gold standard for automated content recognition (ACR), Audible Magic’s content identification services can help identify what song was used in the video. “This partnership just makes sense,” says Kuni Takahashi, Audible Magic’s CEO. “Audible Magic is proud to join Music AI’s network of state-of-the-art tools. This alliance offers creators unprecedented access to a suite of stackable tools in one place that is unified by a commitment to ethical AI practices.”
